Lucy's debut film as a producer, director, writer and assistant editor Abandoned Adopted Here
was completed in 2016 after a challenging 7 years. It's documentary about the experience of growing up as a Transracial adoptee in pre-multicultural 60s UK. About identity and belonging, it questions whether there is such a thing as being British East Asian/British Chinese in Great Britain.

Making Abandonded Adopted Here lead to the formation of Foundling Productions essentially to facilitate the other work Lucy wants to create.

Lucy is now developing her short story  Char Siu Bao into a short film (wt) Sweet Meat

Lucy is also trying to gain ACE funding for her play Comfort Women. The play was published in the first ever anthology of full length plays written by British East Asian playwrights. Publish by Aurora Metro Books
